A griddle gets you there when heat is even across the steel and you can choose where that heat goes.

The Halo Elite 1B Countertop Griddle is a propane flat top that runs one burner across two heat zones, so you can cook hot on one side and keep a cooler landing spot on the other.

That dual zone design is why this compact griddle cooks like a bigger one. Light only the right zone and the left side stays a no-cook area, a place to rest finished burgers or stage the next batch. Light both and you get wall-to-wall heat with no cold corners, the even surface you need for a full round of pancakes or up to 12 burgers.

Halo sets the griddle plate inside the body instead of on top of it, a wind-resistant design that keeps the heat on the steel when a breeze rolls across the patio. The 15,000 BTU burner covers 300°F to 600°F and warms up in about 10 minutes, so dinner starts quickly.

Use the low end for eggs, pancakes and quesadillas, and go hot for smash burgers, cheesesteaks and fajitas. Close the lid over the cook to melt cheese fast or steam vegetables. At about 51 lbs it moves from the patio to a tailgate or campsite without much fuss, and the Halo Countertop Cart gives it a dedicated station at home.

Cleanup is simple. An extra-large rear grease container catches runoff, and adjustable feet with an included bubble level let you set the plate flat so grease runs where it should.
