The JETFIRE™ Chimney Starter is a quick, safe and efficient way to start charcoal for your charcoal barbecue grills. For outdoor use only, this charcoal starter uses a chimney effect that concentrates heat to light the charcoal. Made from aluminized steel with a cool-touch handle (although, grill gloves are recommended when hot) for long-lasting use. Have charcoal hot and ready to use in minutes, the JETFIRE™ Chimney Starter holds enough charcoal to fill most charcoal barbecue grills. To use, fill the underside of the JETFIRE™ Chimney Starter with Napoleon wood wool. Turn the JETFIRE™ Chimney Starter over and fill the main chamber with as much charcoal as needed for your cook - a few large chunks of hardwood lump charcoal for smoking, up to a full load for some high heat searing. Once filled, light the wood wool on fire through the bottom vents of the starter. Allow the paper to burn off, which ignites the bottom coals. The heat from the bottom coals rises igniting the rest. Using heat-resistant gloves, lift the JETFIRE™ Chimney Starter by the handle and pour the lit charcoal into your barbecue grill. Clever, multifunctional and easy to maintain, every kitchen benefits from the addition of a Napoleon barbecue accessory. Our accessories provide you with the essentials to create delicious grilled food and then some to enhance your cooking arsenal with a wide variety of creative additions to broaden your culinary horizons.

How do I pick the right rub for what I'm cooking?
How do I pick the right rub for what I'm cooking?
Start with the protein. Beef loves coarse, pepper-forward rubs. Pork and chicken take well to sweeter, sugar-based blends. Fish and veggies want something lighter. Every product page tells you what the rub was built for, and if you're stuck between two, ask us. We cook with this stuff every weekend.
How long do rubs and sauces stay good?
How long do rubs and sauces stay good?
Unopened, most rubs hold peak flavor for about a year and sauces until the date on the bottle. Once opened, keep rubs sealed away from heat and humidity (not on the shelf above the grill) and refrigerate sauces after opening. If it still smells strong, it still cooks strong.
What if a flavor isn't what I expected?
What if a flavor isn't what I expected?
Give it a second shot before you shelve it. Rubs behave differently depending on the protein, the heat, and how heavy you go. A blend that's just okay on chicken is often unbelievable on pork ribs, and most sauces open up when they're brushed on during the last few minutes instead of after. If you tell us what you cooked and how, we'll tell you how to get the most out of the bottle you've got.
