A steakhouse crust on a ribeye, a chicken turning slowly on the spit until the skin crackles, burgers for the whole block in one round. An outdoor kitchen should cook like a real kitchen, and that comes down to how much heat you have and how evenly it reaches the food.
The Napoleon Built-In 700 Series 32" Gas Grill with Rear Infrared Burner is a built-in propane grill that pairs strong, even burner heat with a dedicated infrared rotisserie burner, so you can sear, roast and spit-roast from one cooking station.
Four stainless steel main burners and the infrared rear burner put out a combined 66,000 BTU. Above the burners, dual-level stainless steel sear plates catch and vaporize drippings while shielding the burners. Perforated, angled grease management plates carry the rest away, which keeps flare-ups in check so you char food on purpose, not by accident.
The cooking grids are thick stainless steel in Napoleon's WAVE shape. Thick steel stores heat, so the grids stay hot when cold steaks land on them, and that stored heat is what lays down deep, defined sear marks. The wave pattern spreads heat evenly and keeps small pieces like shrimp and asparagus from slipping through.
The rear infrared burner is built for rotisserie cooking. It throws intense radiant heat from behind the food, browning and crisping the outside as the spit turns while the meat bastes in its own juices. Napoleon includes a commercial grade rotisserie kit, and it stores in an integrated compartment under the grill, so it is there when you want it.
Total cooking area is 786 square inches, with a 29.5 by 18 inch main grilling area that Napoleon rates for 32 burgers. Run all four burners for steaks and burgers, or light the outer burners and roast a whole chicken or pork loin indirectly in the middle. Precise burner control and the ACCU-PROBE temperature gauge make it easy to hold steady heat for roasting, baking and smoking.
Night cooks are easy too. Interior halogen lights illuminate the cooking surface, and the backlit control knobs glow blue, then switch to red when a burner is on, so you can see at a glance what is lit. The battery-free JETFIRE ignition lights each burner immediately with a jet of flame.
For your installer, Napoleon designed this grill head with integrated trim, longer electrical wiring and a 2-inch tolerance on cut-outs, which makes planning an island simpler. Build the rest of the kitchen around it with matching Napoleon cabinets, doors and drawers, or add a side burner from our Napoleon built-in burners and grills collection.
Premium stainless steel construction holds up to years of weather, and the stainless grids are close to maintenance free. Napoleon backs it with a Lifetime Limited Warranty. Build it in once and it anchors your backyard for the long run.

How do I pick the right rub for what I'm cooking?
How do I pick the right rub for what I'm cooking?
Start with the protein. Beef loves coarse, pepper-forward rubs. Pork and chicken take well to sweeter, sugar-based blends. Fish and veggies want something lighter. Every product page tells you what the rub was built for, and if you're stuck between two, ask us. We cook with this stuff every weekend.
How long do rubs and sauces stay good?
How long do rubs and sauces stay good?
Unopened, most rubs hold peak flavor for about a year and sauces until the date on the bottle. Once opened, keep rubs sealed away from heat and humidity (not on the shelf above the grill) and refrigerate sauces after opening. If it still smells strong, it still cooks strong.
What if a flavor isn't what I expected?
What if a flavor isn't what I expected?
Give it a second shot before you shelve it. Rubs behave differently depending on the protein, the heat, and how heavy you go. A blend that's just okay on chicken is often unbelievable on pork ribs, and most sauces open up when they're brushed on during the last few minutes instead of after. If you tell us what you cooked and how, we'll tell you how to get the most out of the bottle you've got.
